Mac Nadel is the Retail/Wholesale, Food & Beverage Industry Practice Leader (IPL) for the United States. Mac joined the firm in 1985 and has held various leadership roles within Marsh, and has been the National IPL since October of 2009. In addition to his industry and client leadership roles, he leads the Connecticut Middle Market Practice, CT’s Industry Practices Group and is the National Brokerage Team Leader in Norwalk, CT.
With the rapid pace of change and significant disruption taking place across the retail/wholesale and food and beverage industries, Mac leads a team of risk professionals who have a proven track record of delivering meaningful, cost-effective solutions to help clients intelligently manage risk, minimize volatility, increase operational performance, reduce cost and protect their balance sheet. Mac works closely with subject matter experts from across Marsh and MMC to effectively address the issues and challenges of the industry.
Mac regularly speaks at industry risk management conferences and has been recognized as a “Power Broker” for the Retail Industry segment by “Risk & Insurance” magazine.
Mac holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Economics from Rutgers College. He holds a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation as well as Connecticut Producers licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance.
