Karen Beldy Torborg is the Global and North America practice leader of Marsh’s Private Equity and M&A Services practice. The practice provides expert risk management advice and transaction solutions to financial sponsors and strategic investors around the world. The seasoned team has been helping clients improve returns across their investments for more than 20 years.
Karen began her career at Chubb, where she was an underwriter and a team leader in the Commercial Lines Department. She later joined Marsh’s Risk Management Casualty practice where she was responsible for providing risk and insurance advice to large corporate clients. She then joined the Marsh’s business development team as a technical advisor focused on private equity and M&A, where she was responsible for delivering services and solutions to alternative asset and strategic investors. Karen assumed a number of management positions within Marsh’s Private Equity and M&A Services practice in her career including the leadership of various teams in North America, managing its global operations and leading the group’s expansion into new markets.
Karen serves on the Advisory board of Private Equity CFO Association (PECFOA) of NY, and sits on the Board of Youth I.N.C and is a Licensed Property and Casualty Broker.
Ms. Beldy Torborg graduated with her MBA in Finance and International business, from New York University, Stern School of Business and obtained her BS in Economics and International Business from Fairfield University.
