Rich Fuerstenberg is a Senior Partner in Mercer's Health practice. He works with clients on their healthcare and group benefit programs, connecting dots for employers and employees helping them reduce cost and risk while improving the benefits experience. While he works on the full range of health and benefits programs, Rich have deep subject matter expertise in life, absence and disability programs, retiree medical and captives.
He currently serves as Mercer's Non-Health Innovation Leader, and is responsible for developing new intellectual capital and product development. Those non-health benefits include not just life, accident, absence, disability, dental, vision and voluntary benefits but how those benefits fit into the employers broader health and wealth strategy. His focus is less on theory and more on practical, tangible solutions that increase the value of non-medical benefits to employers and employees.
